Description: Some poems arrive all at once. This one took ten years. The first two lines came in 2014. The rest waited until last fall — as if the world needed time to catch up to what the bird was trying to say. Today I Heard a Bird is an original poem set against a deep steel-blue background with a delicate bird illustration. Quiet, elegant, and powerful — this design carries a message that stays with you.
